This add-on captures those moments in motion. I’ll stitch together short, intentional clips into a ~1 minute video, filmed on either my iPhone or a vintage-inspired digital camera, and delivered ready for social media.

I'm having trouble deciding which session to book, can you help?
Sure can!!
Truthfully, a SIGNATURE SESSION is the sweet spot, especially if you’re drawn to those warm, snuggly, candid moments that feel effortless and real — the kind where it seems like I’m simply a quiet observer in the background.
A PETITE session may not allow quite enough time for that natural flow to unfold. Little ones often need a bit of space to warm up and settle in, and fifteen minutes can pass in a heartbeat. A longer session allows room to breathe, connect, and let those genuine moments reveal themselves with ease. Longer sessions offer the space for everyone to relax, connect, and let those genuine, unposed moments naturally shine through.

Do you collect a retainer?
Yes. A retainer is collected at time of booking to secure your spot and to compensate my commitment to provide services, as well as turning down any other potential clients. This retainer is non-refundable and non-transferrable. The remainder of your session cost, less the retainer, will be due the day of your session. The retainer amount is dependent on the session type and will be outlined in your booking proposal.
How do you take payment?
Your secure booking link will require your retainer fee to be paid via credit/debit card or direct ACH transfer. Your session reminder email will contain another secure link for your remaining balance. If you wish to pay your remaining balance via cash or check, just let me know ahead of time!
How long will our session take?
I can hear the husbands and kids now... "what do you mean we have to take pictures for AN HOUR!?!?!" The times listed under each package are an estimate — I work efficiently, so my sessions sometimes wrap up a little early once we’ve captured everything beautifully! Don’t worry too much about the clock :)
What is your turnaround time, and how many photos will we receive?
Your photos will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session date via a password protected digital gallery.
- PETITE sessions include 15 fully edited photos.
- SIGNATURE and COLLECTIVE sessions are all-inclusive, meaning you will receive all photos that meet my artistic standard.
Why does the session cost say "starting at"?
Great question! There are a few things that would require an additional cost.
- TRAVEL FEES. Local travel (within 20 miles of 19030) is included in the session cost. Travel fees may be applied, at my discretion, for locations greater than 20 miles from 19030. I calculate this using the standard government milage rates and would let you know up front!
- STUDIO SESSIONS. I do not have my own a studio (...yet. BIG wish list item!) Most studios charge around $100 per hour to rent.
- LOCATION FEES. Certain locations may charge an entrance or admission fee.
How should we dress?
Neutral and earthy tones work best with my editing style. I request my clients avoid bright colors (red clothing will reflect on everyone's skin and is highly discouraged), neons, and busy logos or patterns. I have carefully curated a ShopMy storefront; the link will be included in your session booking confirmation email. I would be more than happy to provide styling guidance and recommendations - styling is actually one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. Outfits can REALLY elevate the look of your photos!
What time of day is best for a session?
Golden hour is my FAVORITE time to shoot outdoors! NOTHING beats the soft, warm glow from sunshine. That would be about 1 hour before sunset. If your session will be in your house or in a studio, I recommend whenever the agreed upon location gets the best and brightest natural light.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I expect?
First and foremost, I'm excited for you! Don't stress, we will have fun. I will guide you with prompts and poses as needed. Easier said than done, but just relax - you've got this!
Can you recommend locations?
Yes! I have a bunch of locations that I love to shoot at all over Mercer, Burlington, Bucks, and Ocean County. I am always looking for new spots so if you have a special place in mind, just let me know!
If book a petite session, would I be able to upgrade to a full gallery afterwards?
ABSOLUTELY! That tells me that you love your gallery and simply cannot choose only 15 photos (❤❤❤❤❤!!) I can send you an invoice for the additional $125.
When is best to schedule a newborn session?
It is recommended to schedule a newborn session during the first 2 weeks with your new babe if you're looking for those super sleepy snuggles (however, every baby is different and usually follows their own made-up schedule when it comes to their newborn session LOL I don't recommend a specific time of day, though best if baby has been recently fed. Full belly = happy baby! (usually lol).
What happens if the weather forecast is bad for our session date?
Mother Nature and I have beef OFTEN. It happens. Although a moody and rainy day session can look super cool, I know it's not everyone's vibe. I will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your session.
How many family members are included in a session?
My family session pricing is reflective of one household. If you are interested in an extended family session (multiple families, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins), please inquire for pricing!
Do you provide prints?
I do not provide prints or any physical product at this time. You are more than welcome to download and print your photos at a lab of your choosing!
Why or when would tax be collected with my payment?
New Jersey law requires tax to be collected on photography services with tangible products.

Kim is an incredibly talented photographer who is such a pleasure to work with. She made our newborn session such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Kim has a gift for capturing the true beauty of those simple, every day moments and the photos she took were nothing short of magic and will be forever treasured.
